Where to stay in Castrojeriz
Castrojeriz is a long, linear village stretched along the base of a hill crowned by castle ruins, giving it one of the most distinctive silhouettes on the Camino. You will find a good range of albergues, guesthouses, and small hotels spread along the main street, all close to the Camino route. It’s a comfortable and convenient place to rest before the climb up to Alto de Mostelares, with options for both simple dorms and quieter private rooms.
